Planning

Please read through the planning section of my blog before answering the questionnaire below Thank you.

The production pitch demonstrates why we believe our film trailer is best suited to New Line Cinema.  Our film trailer will be made up of several longer scenes of which when in the final stages of editing, small sections will be taken from these longer scenes. They will not be placed in chronological order so that it is appealing to the audience by not giving away the entire story.

This is a brief walk through of what each scene will entail. It shows how the trailer shows little part of all the elements of the couples relationship. The introduction of another women towards the end creates the question of whether this is the males new girlfriend? As the more serious girlfriend has moved away to America, the audience are unsure on whether she is to return as they have both been forced back in to their working and socializing lifestyles. Some camera shots, editing and locations are mentioned briefly however a further plan of shot types in location will provide clearer ideas for the shot set ups and the way in which each individual character will be presented and therefore perceived by the audience.

This is the script for our romantic film trailer called "here's to us".    Above is the storyboard for our romantic trailer, it includes the duration of each shot and the type of editing which will be incorporated.
A shot list.
Our casting list including extra's which may be needed during the scenes where James is trying to fit back in to the laddish lifestyle.
This is an updated version of my previous storyboard. It includes the type of shot compositions which may be used and how I will attempt to successfully use rule of third during filming. It also includes camera techniques such as panning, tilting and the use of angles within filming. The presentation shows the use of mise-en-scene that will be used within the romantic film trailer. It includes the use of props location and lighting based on each scene within the trailer.
Name ideas We will start filming scenes within our film trailer from the 6th of October. Below are three documents which include the plan for the next three weeks of filming. The production plan timetables every scene within the trailer. The remaining days will be used to re-shoot any footage we are not happy with to a greater standard before continuing with the editing process. Below are the reasons why we have chosen to cast our lead roles and some of the extras who we plan to include for smaller roles. These are possible trial fonts that we will use during the editing stages of our ancillary product. Below are some of the possible backing tracks we will be using for our trailer. A very basic draft layout of our magazine cover and poster for our film. A more detailed draft of how I expect to create my ancillary poster.
From my survey and Padlet I was able to summarise my audience feedback and therefore understand what would be effective and what I may need to reconsider before we produce our trailer.
